About Us

Mr. John Baldwin, who pursued his education while working as a janitor and chopping wood, dedicated his life to making education accessible. In 1845, he founded the Baldwin Institute in New York, followed by Baldwin High School in 1982. The Baldwin School for Girls was established in Bangalore in 1903 and continues to offer quality education to girls. Recognizing the growing need for higher education for women, the Pre-University Course (PUC) section was introduced in 1990, and the degree section was added in 1995.
