My time at Baldwin Women’s Methodist College was a transformative phase of my life, filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable experiences. Stepping onto campus for the first time, I was met with a vibrant atmosphere where students from diverse backgrounds came together, each with their unique aspirations and dreams.

The academic journey was both stimulating and demanding. Balancing assignments, projects, and exams tested my time management skills and taught me the value of perseverance and discipline. Beyond academics, I was fortunate to learn from professors who went beyond their roles as educators and formed friendships that extended beyond the classroom—friends who became like family. From late-night project sessions to shared laughter in the cafeteria, these relationships created some of my fondest memories.

I am a proud alumna of Baldwin Women’s Methodist College, where I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). My journey here was transformative, providing me with a strong foundation for my career and shaping me into the professional I am today.

I chose BBA because of the excellent career opportunities it offers across sectors like Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance. My primary interest was in Human Resources, and the course enabled me to develop essential skills, particularly leadership. From being the Class Secretary to serving as the College President, I gained invaluable experiences that taught me the importance of effective communication, team coordination, and decision-making—skills that are indispensable in the corporate world.

The BBA program at Baldwin Women’s Methodist College goes beyond theoretical knowledge. It provides practical exposure through industrial visits, helping students understand how industries operate. Additionally, the emphasis on community service instills a sense of social responsibility, preparing us to be not just professionals but also compassionate individuals.

The college also encourages participation in extracurricular activities, offering opportunities to collaborate with classmates during events like Chrysalis, Sports Day, and Class Chapels. These experiences helped me develop teamwork and coordination skills while fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

My college life at BWMC was an incredible journey of three wonderful years filled with enriching experiences to cherish for life. I did my graduation in BA Journalism from Baldwins ( Batch of 2010). The college not only provides academic enrichment but ensured holistic development of the students. The extra curricular activities coupled with quality teaching enable students to not just excel academically, but also moulds them as a whole and prepares them for a bright future. The faculty at Baldwins having vast experience in their subject of expertise and their approachable nature is what makes students feel comfortable in getting their doubts clear. I had the privilege of being tutored by some excellent lecturers who have left an indelible mark in my life and even today,  I look back with gratitude for their contributions in making me realise my dream of being a Journalist.

Hi I am Diksha Sharma currently working at Capgemini Invent as workforce & organization consultant. BBA at Baldwins had been an exciting experience, being a part of this institution not only gave me quality knowledge, hands on experience but also helped me in overall personality growth. The faculties here motivated me and helped me utilise my potential to shape my career. The college not only focuses on education but also a variety of extra curricular activities that helped me develop various skills and confidence. At Baldwins we are not a number, we are a name and a person.
